My PTO clutch went bad. I ordered one from the Cub Cadet website ($319.00) along with a new bolt ($8.00).

The new bolt was too big to fit even though the part number matches their exploding diagram, so I used the old bolt. The new clutch performed well the first day.

The next day it locked up and spun 180 degrees bending the bracket. The clutch was ruined. They refuse to take it back saying they did not install it so there was no way to tell if I was at fault.

The woman grilled me on how I installed it. She told me I should have torqued it down and that I ordered the wrong bolt.

Do yourself a favor and skip Cub Cadet when you are loo Bullshit king for a new one. This company does not value its customers it looks for reasons to blame them.
